Hiking and climbing in the Wilder and Zahmer Kaiser Mountains is a real treat. 200 kilometres of marked trails lead you through the impressive landscape of Kaiserwinkl, where you might also have fun doing some Nordic walking. So get out your hiking boots or Nordic walking sticks and off you go!

There are plenty of cosy resting places with a wonderful view or rustic mountain cabins where tired hikers can rest their feet. After you have worked up an appetite, Tyrolean delicacies like farmhouse bacon and home baked bread will taste even better.
Cable cars & free bus
Those who would rather reach the mountain tops in a more comfortable way, or don't feel like walking back down again after a strenuous ascent, have the option of taking the gondola or mountain railway. Once you have reached the top, you will enjoy the full alpine experience before heading back down to the valley. Once you are there, simply ride the bus back to the Hotel Wildauerhof. Our guests receive the complimentary Kaiserwinkl card, which means your ride is free of charge!
