Within walking distance of the family hotel in Walchsee, at the lower terminus of the Zahmer Kaiser ski area, you will find your way to a very special attraction. Take the cable car to the top, enjoy the magnificent mountain view on the way, and then race down the mountainside. How? On the summer toboggan run! Once you have reached the bottom, you can treat yourself to a nice cup of coffee whilst the children romp around the playground or watch the animals in the game reserve. Besides the mountains and the lake, there are many other destinations near the Wildauerhof family hotel that are definitely worth visiting. Take a trip to the Wildbichl wildlife park and see forest animals up close or visit the horses at the Fohlenhof Ebbs. The town of Innsbruck is only a short car ride away and offers a wide variety of shops and monuments, which makes for an interesting day trip. The Ruhpolding amusement park is also conveniently close and well worth seeing.
