Hiking, climbing & more in Tyrol
Picturesque mountains in Kaiserwinkl
The romantic alpine landscape of Kaiserwinkl offers a lot of different hiking and climbing routes for all skill levels. Become an explorer and connoisseur during your holiday at the Hotel Wildauerhof.
The feel of nature in Kaiserwinkl
Green meadows, fragrant mountain forests, clear streams and gushing waterfalls make for a beautiful backdrop to an exceptional summer holiday in Walchsee. The scenic region provides holidaymakers with that special "back to nature" feeling that most of us lose during our everyday routine. The mountains with their unique fauna and flora are as relaxing as they are exciting and beautiful!
Hiking and climbing in the Wilder and Zahmer Kaiser Mountains is a real treat. 200 kilometres of marked trails lead you through the impressive landscape of Kaiserwinkl, where you might also have fun doing some Nordic walking. So get out your hiking boots or Nordic walking sticks and off you go!
Hikers also need rest...
There are plenty of cosy resting places with a wonderful view or rustic mountain cabins where tired hikers can rest their feet. After you have worked up an appetite, Tyrolean delicacies like farmhouse bacon and home baked bread will taste even better.
Cable cars & free bus
Those who would rather reach the mountain tops in a more comfortable way, or don't feel like walking back down again after a strenuous ascent, have the option of taking the gondola or mountain railway. Once you have reached the top, you will enjoy the full alpine experience before heading back down to the valley. Once you are there, simply ride the bus back to the Hotel Wildauerhof. Our guests receive the complimentary Kaiserwinkl card, which means your ride is free of charge!
We are one of the officially quality controlled climbing lodges in Tyrol!
Our benefits for climbers include: athlete's breakfast, info corner with route maps, climbing walls, bouldering tours, sports shops, current weather reports, knowledgeable staff and more.
